Balsamic Rosemary Marinade

 

1 C The Tasteful Olive’s Traditional balsamic vinegar

3/4 C The Tasteful Olive’s mild unflavored EVOO

¼ C raw honey

2 cloves fresh minced garlic

2 T chopped fresh rosemary

2 tsp Kosher salt

1 tsp fresh ground black pepper

 

Mix well and store in a sealed jar in refrigerator for up to 5 days.  Marinate meats for 2-4 hours and veggies for about 1 hour.

 

Note by recipe author: In recent years, more varied flavors in marinades have surfaced and with the ascendency of balsamic vinegar in American culinary lexicon, some very good examples have surfaced.  It works well on beef, chicken and veggies.  It is excellent with portabella mushrooms cooked on the grill.  It also works well with game and is outstanding with a venison tenderloin.
