1 C softened butter

3/4 C Tasteful Olive's Lemon Fusion Olive Oil

1/4 C Somerset Ridge Citron wine*

1 C sugar

1 C powdered sugar

3-3/4 C flour

1 tsp salt

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp cream of tartar

1/2 tsp nutmeg



Cream butter, olive oil and wine until light and blended. Add both sugars and blend until light and creamy. In separate bowl whisk salt, soda, cream of tartar and nutmeg into the flour. Gradually blend flour into butter mixture. Mix very gently for a light and delicate cookie.

With small ice cream scoop (1"), drop dough into bowl of plain sugar. Gently press bottom of dough ball into the sugar. Lift gently from sugar, turn sugar side up and place on ungreased baking sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 10-12 minutes, until cookies barely begin to turn brown around edges. Makes approximately 6 dozen cookies.
